The official recap of New York’s 7–6 extra-inning win over Boston (recap posted Aug. 10; game dated Aug. 9 on the official player-page log) said “Blunt came to the bump” in the top of the seventh, “getting in and out of trouble, leaving runners in scoring position.” In the bottom of the eighth, that recap said she “lined a single to left,” then “got nailed between the bases trying to take third.” The official player-page game log for Aug. 9 vs New York lists 5 AB, 2 H, 1 RBI.
