Notable 2026 mentions

The official recap of San Francisco’s 11–3 Opening Weekend win over Boston (game dated Aug. 2 on the official player-page log; recap posted Aug. 3) still names “Denver Bryant’s strong throw across the diamond to an insanely stretched Sabrina Robinson at first to rob Amanda Gianelloni of her fourth hit of the night.” FanGraphs’ Week Two recap returned to that play and said the Bryant–Robinson pairing “did it again” in Boston’s 9–6 win over New York.

The official recap of that 9–6 win (recap posted Aug. 9; game dated Aug. 8 on the official player-page log) said she “slipped an RBI base hit through the hole” in the fifth and, with the bases loaded in the sixth, “launched a bases-clearing double, reaching third on an offline throw past the bag.” The official player-page game log for Aug. 8 vs New York lists 4 AB, 1 R, 2 H, 3 RBI, 1 SB.
