Sarah Edwards, Los Angeles Queens

Sarah Edwards, Los Angeles Queens is on the Los Angeles Queens roster. We only write what the official pages already say. Live numbers live on those official links. More names: players. This is the WPBL first baseman, not the UK Member of Parliament of the same name.

Los Angeles Queens, 2026

The official player page has no bio paragraph. The league’s November 2025 Round Three draft recap listed the pick as Sarah Edwards, 1B, Bay Shore, New York, and called her a left-handed first baseman with national and international experience. Live official LA roster and player pages use switch-hitter / throws left (S / L). ESPN’s league explainer lists her as Los Angeles 1B. World Baseball Network’s how-to-watch note also lists her on the Queens roster.

We’re not making up a batting line. The official player page publishes a 2026 batting line and game log; use that or stats.womensprobaseballleague.com for current numbers.

Notable 2026 mentions

The official recap of Los Angeles’s 10–8 Opening Day win over New York (recap posted Aug. 2; game dated Aug. 1 on the official player-page log) said “Sarah Edwards gifted Rakyung Kim her first ‘K.’”

The official recap of Los Angeles’s 12–4 win over Boston (recap posted Aug. 6; game dated Aug. 5 on the official player-page log) said “Sarah Edwards hit the first grand slam in WPBL history, and it’s only the third game!” That official recap also said you could argue she and Michelle Roche were deserving of player of the game alongside Ashton Lansdell. The official player-page log for Aug. 5 vs Boston lists 4 AB, 1 R, 2 H, 1 HR, 4 RBI. ESPN, MLB.com, FanGraphs Week Two, the Inquirer, and WBEZ did not name the grand slam in the pages checked for this write-up; the hook is from the official league recap.

Other Queens pages: Mo’ne Davis, Ashton Lansdell, Ayami Sato, Maggie Foxx, Amira Hondras, Michelle Roche. Queens notes: Los Angeles. Watch: how to watch.
